Banned From Digg.com!

As soon as I discovered Feedm8 I decided to write an blog post about it before anyone else could and go for a Digg page1. I started a digg/social vote exchange on Digital point in the freebies section, which seems to have become the norm for many bloggers and webmasters.
My Title of the forum thread was:
“1 Digg: Infinite Anything Exchange I’m Getting to page 1 or killing myself”
I’ve read about bloggers being banned from digg before, but not recently and there are numerous digg exchanges everyday on digital point using live links and people don’t seem to get banned.
The way I see it, my title was just so amazingly eye-catching that it caught the eye of a digg admin on patrol. That must be the reason, because I write such fantastic titles . . .
I’ll try and control my rage and sarcasm as I write this. After all, I got what I deserved… But did I really? We all know by now that getting on digg page 1 is about 2 things:
1. Networking and building up a ‘power profile’ or contacts via IM (instant messenger).
2. Trading our way to the top of a system that has fallen so flat on it’s face it’s ass actually looks more like the face. 2 faced, to be exact.
Choosing to start a Digg exchange is dangerous. It’s those kind of decisions that dictate our lives. I like have to live in the fast lane and if that means having the odd spectacular crash every now and then, that’s the way I chose.
Digg can go Finger themselves. I’ve made a new account and learnt my lesson and hopefully passed on a little wisdom in the process.

I got banned as well. I don’t participate in digg exchanges and I didn’t spam them either.

Digg is banning people left and right, sometimes for no apparent reason.
Sorry to hear about that. The good news is that being Dugg isn’t the end all, be all of online promotion. Just a popular one to talk about.
I’m going to have to rethink my social media marketing stategy. Sphinn is looking like a very likely possibility.
I just did 6 - 7 exchanges on Digital Point forum, spanned over 5 - 6 days, without posting any live links on the forum, and yet my account ended up being banned, although I had been a member at Digg for more than a year :s

Nobody can digg content on my forum. How do I know if it’s been banned? I don’t get a message or anything.
