On my old blog CashCrate was one of my recommended affiliate programs. Yesterday my earnings from referrals arrived, totalling $116.56. Below are some photos of the checks. You can click to enlarge them but I must apologies for the poor photo quality, I blame my camera…
I cannot pretend CashCrate have been perfect with this payment. It is late and only after contacting CashCrate Admins a couple of times using the forums were the payments sent. Apparently they are late due to a glitch in the system that sorts out sending them to the UK. I’m willing to let them off this time. Those earnings are from my referrals only, which given the minimum commission rate of 10 and 20% my referrals must have earned over $600.
100% Passive Income
I only have 21 active referrals so they have earned over $25 each on average, which is a pretty good average. As it happens my referrals for July earned me another $32.14 (which is yet to arrive). I did absolutely nothing to earn that. It’s from referrals I made over 1 month ago using my old blog. 100% passive income!
Is CashCrate for You?
CashCrate is a PTO program (get paid to complete offers). There are 2 ways you can make money from it.
1. Completing offers. These vary in value anywhere from $0.50 to $40 per offer and involve signing up to things. I recommend creating a new e-mail address you can give when completing offers so your current one doesn’t get cluttered up.
2. Referring others. This is what I did. I have personally referred 81 people (20% commission rate), who have referred another 191 (10% commission rate). 21 are active referrals, meaning 21 have earned money themselves from CashCrate. You also earn $3 bonuses when each referral that reaches the $10 minimum payout.

***Update***
Since writing this post, 8 more checks have arrived from CashCrate and I have now earned well over $400 from their referral program. The news checks have all be on time. It seems what the admins told me about there being a glitch, which is now fixed, was true after all.

They send by check, no paypal.
they did for a little but it was very susceptible to fraud so they took it off
I love cashcrate… i’m currently working on adding referrals i been making about 25 bucks a month alone with no active referrals for the last two months and am just now getting serious about increasing my downline to take some pressure off myself… congrats on the earnings!

CashCrate is a great site. You are so right about that and you have a very very nice blog.
It took a lot of looking and a lot of trial and error, but I have found several really great sites. And all these sites are free to join. Also, I have proof that these sites pay like pics of checks I have been paid, a 1099 Tax form, etc.
One thing I have learned: Never join a work at home program or opportunity that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn’t need to charge you.

To answer Lea’s question above, they stop earnings at the end of every month, it processes and gets mailed out on the 15th, so its a very easy check.

Lea, it will only take till the 15th of the month after you reach $10.00 (maybe 20 now, I cant remember, it’s been a while since I logged in) I use cash crate and earn money. I tried a few others but never stuck with it to reach cash out. I read a book I unlocked free for doing one survey at zipbux.org which they said will do away with ad clicking, and it did. I was using PTC as well as GPT and buying referral packs on PTC, but it goes nowhere and some don’t pay.
But this book showed me how to get paid for my pics, files, whatever I want really, so for now I’m happy with a cash out now and then with cash crate and mostly spend the time with the steps in zipbux because it makes me more money in my paypal. I have used cashcrate before, they have a very good pay and I make a good amount from them. It’s sad that most of these GPT sites are closing down though.
That’s how you make money, by referring everyone else to the site and no one is even buying anything. No wonder I feel so frustrated with the site, they make pennies for every dollar that people click on the ads and everyone else refers everyone else to the same thing!!

I’m a big proponent of cash crate, i’ve been using it for several months now. This month I’ve made over $350 already, with almost 2 weeks left in the month. How? By referring other users to the service through my blogs, forum signatures and other methods.
I have another friend who has already made $1400 this month. Granted, he has a popular blog that refers tons of people, but still. It can and does work!

How do you fill out an offer without having to do all of those YES NO check box things?
No offense but Cashcrate sucks! I’ve been a member of that site for over a month and I did a lot of offers but only some got credited. Most of them just stayed in my pending section. At first I thought that something is wrong with the way I do the offers but then I joined another site just like that and somehow everything credited just fine. It’s clearly obvious that cashcrate is scamming people by not getting their offers credited even if they did the offer correctly.
I advise people to move to another site. One of the site that I would suggest you to join is CrownGPT. The offers credit very fast and they pay out via Paypal, Alertpay, Amazon or Check instantly! There is no waiting time like in Cashcrate where you have to wait over 2 months for your check.

I’m making money for completing offers, doing surveys, shopping online, a lot of people think these are scams but i can promise you all now that they are not, just another couple of offers and i will get my second cheque. the first was only for 23 pounds but that payed for my petrol that week

Cash Crate is crap. It’s primarily an offer site but also has other ways of making money such as surveys. What I don’t like about this is that you have to give out your personal information to marketers to get credit for these offers. Also, their surveys pay an inferior amount of money. Most of their surveys pay $0.50-$0.80 and you can only take one of each type of survey each day. $0.50-$0.80 for 20 minutes of your time is nothing to brag about. I’m really not sure what all the hype is about. I recommend a site called Toluna. It is primarily a survey site with most of their surveys paying $1.00 or more. They pay via check and it takes 3 weeks at most to receive the check from the time you request it. Below is the link for a picture of one of the checks I got from them. This check is for 1 month of taking surveys with them. Some serious earnings potential here

Cash crate has been around for so long, it is terribly difficult to make a living off that program anymore. I would suggest contacting your referrals and working on a new paid to click site opening up this year.
Varolo will eventually pay its users far more than any other paid to click before it. The payment structure is based upon keyword competition so as the amount of advertisers increase, so do the ad prices and the users get a fixed percentage.

cashcrate is legit. It does take some time for your surveys to get credited but, you will get paid the proper amount within hours of completing the survey. I found that if you clear your cookies right after you complete the survey, it makes the whole process go a litte smoother. You get a dollar just for joining, and you have to reach $20 to get a check but it is not that hard to do. Edited…
