Wpdesigner.com Up For Sale And Blogrepreneur.com Sold

Blogrepreneur.com has been sold here on SitePoint for the tidy sum of $2500. Not bad at all for a young blog. Lets hope the new owner maintains it to the high standard it has always been. It’s original owner, Althaf, may be moving to Blogging Fingers as a regular contributer.
Wpdesigner.com is also up for sale here. So far the bidding has reached $16,500 and there is a Buy It Now (BIN) of $65,000. Wpdesigner is a cornerstone blog in the Wordpress community and I scincerly hope the new owner (when the auction is over) knows what they are doing!
$65,000 is a serious amount of money. The only way I can see the site being worth that much is if the owner really understands how to take advantage of the sites well known brand and uses it to launch a scalable business. Even so, you’ve got to love watching deals of that caliber!
Blogrepreneur shouldn’t even be worth that much, but that’s my own opinion and I congratulate the old owner for selling it at such a good price. I guess the value was all in the domain.

Looking at the sitepoint auction and all the items listed, I think the cost was justified. A mailing list with 500 people is mentioned. Thats worth a lot in my opinion.
I am the new owner of Blogrepreneur.com. Althaf did an excellent job at setting this blog up. It included a subscriber list of over 500 plus a couple of excellent ebooks he had written.
With over 6,000 backlinks and a PR5 page in the middle, I’m happy with the deal.

Pawel Ciszewski’s Problem
It was recently announced that the popular WP Theme site wpdesigner.com was purchased by someone named Pawel Ciszewski. This has been fully covered on other sites and is not news at this point. The problem is… that neither is Pawel Ciszewski.
