[...] You would think that after 4 months more experience of blogging, choosing what to work on and invest in would be easer, but I find it is the exact opposite. Sure, I have more knowledge but that means far more options have appeared resulting in picking which ideas to go with very tough. I’ve found myself scrambling around Entrepreneur.com reading articles like this one about idea overload. This is not because I do not have a plan, but rather because I have too many plans and only a few months to execute them. Perhaps I should take a re-read of my old article about Online Entrepreneurial Decision Making. [...]

Being one of the 63 people who contributed to Maki's list, I felt somewhat diminished by your comment on it. :( I may not be good enough to make big bucks right now, but that doesn't mean I can't share my views and personal experience on that subject. I'm trying to learn more and experiment with various things, so that I'll be able to earn good, meaningful amounts in the future. By the way, this is the reason why I'm subscribed to cool blogs like yours. Besides, among those 63 people there are some who actually make lots of money online.

"With So Many Gurus Poking You In Different Directions What’s A Blogger To Do?!"

I've been thinking A LOT about it lately, and to tell you the truth I planed to write a very similar article on this subject. Now I'll have to put that on hold, since yours came first. ;)

Among your tips, I believe #4 is the best one, or at least it's the one that suits me best at this point.

I'm a big fan of #2. Actually writing ideas down, refining them, and then repeating is a great way to give some direction to your idea. I'm a big fan of iterative design whether it is business plan, blog, software design, or anything else in life.
