Ways To Increase PageRank: Tip No.4 + 5

I decided to roll the last 2 tips together into a single post because they are both fairly simple to explain.

Tip No.4: Buy Reviews Of Your Blog

Normally buying sidebar links is suggested for increasing PageRank for the very good reason that they appear on every page and remain on the Homepage for however long you paid them to be. Reviews fall away to the archives depending on the rate the blogger posts.

So Why Am I Recommending You Buy a Review?

If you were thinking I was trying to get you to buy a review from Blogging Fingers you would be wrong because at the moment, without a PageRank the amount I could charge would not even be worth my time.

My point is, that If you have been thinking of buying a review of your blog, now is the time to do it because the links you get from the review are worth more now, just before the PageRank update, than they will be just after it. With any luck your review will still be on the homepage when the update happens.

Tip No.5: Complete Blogroll Exchanges

This may seem like an obvious tip but we all know how easy it is to not bother with a blogroll. It can seem lowly to ask for a blogroll exchange and it is ‘plebish’ to just request an exchange out of the blue without having prior contact with the blogger. This is one of the reasons why it is so important to make blogging contacts online so you can complete these small-time exchanges on a day to day basis.

You may notice I recently completed an exchange today. I like the keep my blogroll small and manageable and unfortunately I have to deny many requests, but I wouldn’t be practising what I preached if I went around carelessly exchanging links and making deals with everyone who crossed my path.
