Conversion Blogging Method

In this newly released video Yaro teaches his lucrative method of Conversion Blogging. This video really gets me exited about Blog Mastermind and I strongly recommend watching it all the way through. Yaro explains how many bloggers are missing out a very effective way to make money blogging which is combining the Internet marketers email list with a blog. If you think you already know all that, watch the video and I am certain you will pick up on something new. Blogging Fingers uses some of the methods outlined in Conversion Blogging, but Yaro has perfected the technique.

Is Blog Mastermind Worth The Money?

The standard cost of Blog Mastermind will be $97 per month and it is designed as a 6 month training course. However, you can buy the whole course in advance for $497 which saves you $85. The goal of Blog Mastermind is to teach every member how to earn $5000 per month from blogging. If you are already well on your way to that you don’t need me telling you that you don’t need this course. For newbie bloggers it will dramatically speed up the process of becoming a problogger, which I strongly believe anyone can do it they put their mind to it. For intermediates it will do the same, but the first part of the course may be too basic.

The AdWords tool didn’t used to give any very accurate or useful numbers, but now hey give the actual number of searches for any keyword! The tool now gives an average number of searches per month and the actual number of searches for last month for any keyword phrase.

You can enter the URL of your blog and have keywords suggested for it. Looking down the list of keywords it is fascinating to see the actual numbers of people searching. Old tools were inaccurate and always involved an element of guess work, but now you can see the numbers for real! In just a few minutes I have already made several golden finds which I will put to use on some niche blogs.

If you haven’t read it already, John Cow and Garry Conn are having a competition to see who can start a new blog from scratch and sell it on SitePoint for the highest amount after 30 days. Both sides are asking you sign up to find out what they will be doing to beat their opponent. Garry has organized a make money online classroom which you can sign up to for free. Who Will Win?

I’ve known Garry for well over a year now and I’ve seen him try just about every possible way there is to make money online, until he found the winning formula with his extremely numerous niche adsense blogs. He knows his stuff. As for John Cow I’ve seen him rise the fastest with some very creative marketing ideas and he is donating all the money (if he wins) to charity.

Questions About The Rules

Is it allowed for the competitors to use their other current blogs/Websites to promote their new niche blog? If so what is allowed? Presumably promotion from their main blogs is allowed. If anything is allowed, then Garry could pretty much get any site to the top of Google for any keyword phrase by using the power of his other blogs.

Another big question is what about spending money on the new niche blog? Is the winner whoever ends up with the most profit after selling or simply revenue from the sale?

Another issue is that is very easy to infiltrate the opponents classroom to read the tactics they share with their readers by making a new innocent looking email address. Also if Garry or John Cow find out what the URL is of each others competing blog they could make an effort to attack it and bring it down. I trust neither of them will do this as it is a friendly competition. What ever happens both Garry and John Cow will gain lots of free promotion with this contest.

Blogging Fingers started way back on July 2nd 2007, which makes it over 10 months old. Since starting it has been penalized by Google, then sold for $6000, then forgiven by Google, then penalized again and now finally given Sitelinks, while still suffering from a severe tool bar PageRank penalty!

What a story!

The penalizations mentioned above were purely tool bar penalizations to stop me from selling links that pass PageRank. The search engine rankings were not effected. However, there were other penalizations.

For example when I launched the Blog Monetization Strategies e-book with a contest, it went off with such a bang that Google penalized that page for gaining links at an unnaturally fast rate. You will see if you Google “blog monetization strategies” or even “blog monetization strategies e-book” there will be no sign of the Blogging Fingers page, despite almost all the other results being bloggers writing about the e-book.

For a brief time during the contest the page did appear at position number 1, so I can be sure there are no indexing issues going on.

All the same, getting Sitelinks with a tool bar PageRank of 2 shows Google can still love you, even when it pretends to hate you. I know you love me really Google.

The new platform will go live on April 1st and all affiliates who switch their accounts in April receive a 5% commission bonus for that month.

The best new feature which I am looking forward to most is the, “Easy global registration to multiple countries simultaneously“. At the moment being in the UK, Commission Junction Rejects my application, but the new system should allow it. I’ve been using Amazon Associates for my niche blogs, which due to the terrible 24 Hour cookies have a terrible conversion ratio (e.g. 600 clicks resulting in 3 sales…).

Other new features include:

• New, targeted banners and rich media creatives
• New landing page optimization and geo-targeting capabilities
• More detailed reporting capabilities for eBay’s programs

This Good news for bloggers with product based niche sites! I will be updating the Blog Monetization Strategies e-book to contain lots of new information tips to make the most money from the eBay partner network when it opens in April.

Wpdesigner.com is also up for sale here. So far the bidding has reached $16,500 and there is a Buy It Now (BIN) of $65,000. Wpdesigner is a cornerstone blog in the Wordpress community and I scincerly hope the new owner (when the auction is over) knows what they are doing!

$65,000 is a serious amount of money. The only way I can see the site being worth that much is if the owner really understands how to take advantage of the sites well known brand and uses it to launch a scalable business. Even so, you’ve got to love watching deals of that caliber!

What Is Startup Camp?

Startup camp is an, “unconference-style event that’s dedicated to bringing together the various members of the startup community for a face-to-face collaborative meetup where its the attendees that drive the agenda”.

In other words its a great place for first time Startup founders like me to learn and network on the cheap.

A different blog of mine had its PR reduced from PR4 to PR3 yesterday, but the reason for that is that it is a dead blog. If the penalties are lifted across the board for blogs that now comply to Google’s rules it will have some big ramifications… we will have to play the waiting game.
