It’s Official: Playing Halo Makes You A Better Blogger
By admin on Oct 18, 2007 in Creative Blogging

I can scientifically prove that playing Halo makes you a better blogger. Read on to find out how…
I don’t want to give you my life story but I only have access to Halo on alternate weeks when staying at “the Halo house”.
Some of my Yahoo IM buddies know that I spend far too much time playing Halo when I’m at that house… or so I thought.

Looking back at the traffic stats for Blogging Fingers I can see that traffic goes up when I play Halo and down at the other. Could it be that Halo makes me a better blogger?
I’ve conveniently concluded that the only way to make this experiment more accurate is to keep playing Halo intensively at the Halo house.
If you ever need an excuse to take a break from blogging and play Halo, I’ve just given you one. You can thank me with a Stumble.

Hmm I wonder if playing MMO’s will make me a better blogger? Probably not :p
haha, too funny. I play madden and find that it helps me a lot.
That’s awesome. It is funny, my site’s traffic actually follows my gaming as well, except it is inversely proportional. I had a drop off in traffic in the spring when I started playing WOW and it dipped a bit recently when I purchased a used PSP with about a dozen games.
I wish it was the other way. Then I could justify it more. haha
I guess the only way to be sure is to play a many games as possible while blogging and monitor how blog traffic changes. What a shame!
I guess I have to start playing. I stopped gaming a while back after losing track of time way too many times. I guess that lost time goes to good use.
Nice post. It gave me a good laugh. lol
I play PES and FIFA a lot . Now i just need to check my traffic .
That;s strange you mention this…since stopped playing Halo 3 4 hours a day, I am more productive and getting more done.
It must only work with Halo 1 then :p
